Back window falling out

My 2003 with factory top, factory glass window is falling out--the rubber gasket that holds in in is split in 2 places. Does anyone know how to just replace the gasket--the window itself and the rest of the top are fine.

I had a similar experience.

I had a similar experience. I looked and looked until i gave up. And I'm gonna backup fast NA and Merlot. You got to buy a new top. If you get lucky and manage to fix the top, you have a bigger chance of the same problem happening again.

I would also go with a new top. In these cases it is usually worth the extra money for a perfect fit and a whole new look! Also i have never heard of just the winow gasket being sold:

these windows are heat sealed and issues like this occure over time.

new top???

not too sure how to replace the gasket but i can give soft top advice. if you are seriously looking to replace you top, look for a sunfast canvas top by Robbins. they are amazingly versitile, last years longer than vinyl, and look fantastic AND the rear glass windows are stitched and heat glued to theres no chance of it falling out. thats what i had on my 91 and loved it.

Have you installed a replacement rag yourself? I hear it's pretty wicked & I'm going to have to R&r mine pretty soon
